1. Scope and Types of Manuscripts

Scientia Nexus publishes original and unpublished scientific works across different areas of knowledge, including, but not limited to:

2. Submission Requirements

During submission, authors must provide:

Author Information

  • Full name
  • Institutional affiliation
  • City, State/Province, and Country
  • Institutional email address
  • ORCID
  • Link to Lattes Curriculum (when applicable for Brazilian authors)

Authorship

Scientia Nexus adopts the CRediT Taxonomy (Contributor Roles Taxonomy).

Authors must declare their specific contributions to the manuscript.

Conflicts of Interest

All authors must disclose potential financial, institutional, academic, or personal conflicts of interest.


Corresponding Author

A corresponding author must be identified as responsible for communication with the editorial team.


3. Language Policy

The journal accepts manuscripts in:

  • English
  • Portuguese
  • Spanish

To increase international visibility, submission in English is strongly recommended.

The formatting must strictly follow the official template of the journal.

5. Article Structure

Identification Page

(Submitted separately)

Must contain:

  • Article title
  • Authors’ names
  • ORCID
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Email
  • Corresponding author information

Manuscript for Review

The manuscript submitted for evaluation must not contain any author identification.


Recommended Structure

Title

Maximum of 20 words.


Abstract

Between 150 and 250 words.

Must include:

  • Objective
  • Method
  • Results
  • Conclusions

Keywords

From 3 to 5 keywords.

Separated by semicolons.

Example:

Keywords: artificial intelligence; innovation; sustainability; higher education; open science.


Main Text

Recommended sections:

6. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures must fully comply with APA 7th edition guidelines.

  • Numbered consecutively
  • Title placed above the table
  • Source placed below the table

Figures

  • Numbered consecutively
  • Caption placed below the figure
  • Submitted in high resolution

Direct Citation

Up to 40 words:

"Quoted text" (Silva, 2024, p. 10).

More than 40 words:

Block quotation format according to APA 7th edition.


8. References

References must strictly follow APA 7th edition guidelines.

9. Evaluation Process

Scientia Nexus uses:

Scientia Nexus is an open access journal.

All articles are freely available to the public without reading fees or access restrictions.

Currently, Scientia Nexus:

Does not charge submission fees or publication fees (APCs).
